Misconceptions about Fat

One common misconception is concerning fat. The misconception is that fat makes you fat and should be avoided at all costs. You may remember the low fat diet was popular in the ‘80’s as a means to lose weight, but in reality the opposite is what happened to people who did this. They gained weight and became very unhealthy. Our body has an outer layer of fat. So eliminating fat makes the cells susceptible to disease, deterioration and at an accelerated rate. Fat is necessary for a healthy nervous system, immune system, hormone production, slowing arthritis and helping transport oxygen. Therefore, the truth is, that a diet of healthy fats is what you’re striving for. So the solution is to eat healthy meats, supplement with pure fish oil, flax oil, use organic cold-pressed olive oil and coconut oil regularly.

  1. The misconceptions that have been propagated throughout generations dictating our nutrition are truly terrifying. The innate desire to nourish our bodies rather than create degeneration lies within every being. Our duty is to challenge the promulgation of the pseudo-nutritionist and agribusiness politics. Unfortunately the answers are hidden in a labyrinth of untruths. They are out there it is time we listen with our whole being, body, mind, spirit.
